As the second-generation model of the EOS R system, EOS R6 continues to create surprises. A full-frame CMOS image sensor with approximately 20.1 million effective pixels developed based on the SLR flagship has good low-noise performance. Commonly used sensitivities are as high as ISO 102400, and with an autofocus brightness limit as low as EV-6.5, it can handle dark scenes more comfortably. The full-pixel dual-core CMOS AF has been upgraded to the second generation. The autofocus covers approximately 100% × 100% of the frame range and supports animal detection. High-speed continuous shooting of up to approximately 20 frames per second and hand-shake compensation with shutter speeds of up to 8 levels provide support for clearly capturing instants and greatly expand the shooting field. It supports smooth 59.94P/50P 4K UHD clips, combined with Canon Log gamma and HDR PQ curve that is close to the visual effects of the human eye, making professional video production possible.
